In case anyone was concerned that maybe I was abusing my poor bike even further. I do still need to build a lift system of some sort to suspend it while I work on the suspension. Comments (

I did not go by the motorcycle shop on my way home and so I do not have fresh oil. I did lube the chain though, and I've planned my trek to the shop while en route to work tomorrow. Now I just have to remember my backpack!

Lets face it, the katana has seen better days. I really need to clean and lube the chain and change the oil, but I also need to replace the rear shock and the fork seals.
If I can convince my lazy self to get the supplies for the oil and chain I can get that done tonight. The suspension maintenance needs me to build a bike stand first. I've seen them built with heavy duty pluming pipe and ratchet straps for under $200 which is my current plan. Maybe a project for this weekend?
